Myself and Joel VDK go back a while.......back in 2011 he created the artwork for my mix "Calls To Trane" for Monday Jazz. I immediately resonated with his work: I knew I had to connect with the brother again.

Fast forward to 2016 and we're both proud to present our first collaborative project "ROAM". A combined comic book and beat tape project that we think complement each other nicely.

I've tried my best to create a dusty tape feel to match the narrative of the comic: raw MPC & SP productions with no special effects. It's a little more loose than my previous excursions, but that's kinda the point. I hope you guys enjoy the vibrations.

Who knows: we might do another one of these if you people dig it. Now go buy a comic book & bump some beats!
